You realize those were the energy tactics used by the Germans, right?

At any rate there is no accounting for the actions of online players. They can't be expected to hold to historical tactics or anything else for that matter.

fly away from the action and come back at higher alt, then you can BnZ them. as mentioned BnZ are the energy tactics as used by the luftwaffe.

Just look for the HL rooms with the easiest settings.B n Z tactics work best in full switch servers.

I like to wait till the last second and pull a nice big fast barrel roll on B and Z fighters. Makes them totally sh-it in their pants. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

They have so much energy built up they will pass right by you trying to slow down and then you can totally kill them dead!

Try practicing on the games Ai first to time this manauver absolutely just right which is very very important though first! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

get really good at this and your enemy won't know wtf hit them... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

You will totally disappear from right in front of them in a blink of an eye and then they will receive a real nasty surprise. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

pretty soon you will go looking for B and z pilots to mess with their heads. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

You can use HL, AllSeeingEye or XFire, but you'll have most of the same servers cross-listed in all three. There just aren't many quick-action quake-fest servers anymore as most of those guys have split years ago.

I won't criticize people that like those types of servers, but to me, that's more of a snooze-fest than the more common servers online that lean towards high-difficulty settings.

I just don't get any fun out of spawn, bounce across the runways perpedicular, race for the enemy base at 1,000ft as the crow flies, engage the other 10 aircraft in the low-level furball, shoot someone, get shot...rinse, repeat

I would really suggest going to one of the more common servers, getting on TeamSpeak, formulate some kind of plan to stay alive and do your best to inflict harm on the other team while trying to stay alive. That's a challenge fo sho.

I like seeing guys at 7k B&Zing enemies as they take off and try to climb out. I enjoy the challenge of trying to sneak up on them, chase them away or catch them while at the top of their last zoom-climb and pound them good.

Try scrambling from a "hot" airfield on a FR server... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif You'd better not be snoozing.

But hey...to each his own.

Megile, have to disagree, in my experience it is usually the noobs who TnB, takes a lot more effort to climb up and patiently wait for a kill, noobs tend to jump straight into a dogfight and get themselves bumped off by a BnZ'er http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Really though, if your SA is any good at all, BnZ attacks aren't that dangerous until there are a couple ganging up on you.
