An earlier post mentioned this site. It has some great pictures and commentary about the FW 190. Here's the link again:

It's well worth reading. He's also looking for help in getting a few .avi's available for download. The files are between 18 to 30 megs. He feels they are too big for the web...obviously he hasn't downloaded some of the movies from here! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif He's also looking for some to make a downloadable skin of the plane in the article as well as a screensaver. are some downloadable pics of a poem that was written on the inside of the aft portion of the fuselage by, they think, a young woman involved in final assembly of the aircraft. Very touching.

Well as most of them were built by slave labour what did she write?

and no bloody pay.


did you know they have found a cache of crated up and inhibited DB engines in Russia left over from the war....
bet they have had the main journals half cut through to...
