JaPo publishing has just released the first of a two volume work on the Dora.

Focke-Wulf Fw 190D camouflage & markings €" Part I

Don't be fooled by the title, since JaPo publications are packed with technical detail, their Bf 109K and Bf 109G-10 books are simply superb, as is their older Fw 190F/G title.

JaPo books tend sell out pretty quickly so if you have a genuine interest in the subject don't waste too much time thinking...

Hello,
I am looking to find a book that covers bf109G series camo schemes. I am interested in building some 1:32 scale 109 models and would be sweet to have a book with different color profiles.
Thanks

Depends on the G-models, what kits are you planning to build?

Website has been locked due to non-payment reasons. Yesterday when I checked it was fine. That guys (space providers) are fast with their debt collecting http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

Where can I find more books on the North American P-51? I hear its the worlds best fighter plane so i'd like to learn more about it.

and no, the best was the focke wulf 190 dora , but maybe it could be the second best fighter in ww2 , but hmm, thats not possible, the second best was the spitfire, sorry.

You could start with America's Hundred-Thousand. Perhaps the best single title book to get if you have an interest in US world war two fighter types.

But apart from a number of booklets on the type (Squadron/Signal in Action, Walkaround and Scale & Detail, or Osprey Aces etc) I cannot make any more comments, since I have too little detailed material on the type.

The new Classic book on the Mustang received some Flak regarding technical accuracy.

However I cannot make any comments on the accuracy of these statements.
