The title speaks for itself, I know we're going to play Assassin's Creed Rev ALLOT in November, but I was wondering if anybody else was doing this to.

Could you please translate the terminology into modern English so that I can know just what the hell NaNoWriMo means? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Sorry about that, lol:

National
Novel
Writing
Month

This is my first time doing it, but basically you have to write 50, 000 words in one month, specifically, the month of November

Lol, and I have the feeling everyone on here is to, huh? But people do make time for it, for all kinds of reasons. Personally, I've written 3000 in a day before, so I think it should be possible

I won't be doing it, because I already have a project to work on and don't want to disrupt it. But I will try and get 50,000 words done on my novel. Although, with Revelations AND Skyrim releasing in November... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

@Assassin_M: And I'll still wonder how 50, 000 OMGS won a world fantasy. you'll have all these hidden plot thread such graceful and seemless character transaction and...OMG

I know! I guess I'll just be writing extra on some days so I can game more. AC:R plus by hype over it will be like two or three days MAX, and Skyrim...I'll save that one for later, lol.

Story Idea? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif wanna tell me about it? Or send me a pm or something? Me and my friend decided to pick the same overall setting, then see where it will go from there.

I'm gonna do nanowrimo for the first time this year! Gotta say, Revelations is really going to get in my way, because I'm probably gonna put down the pen until I beat it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Really? I was wondering if anyone had heard of it for a second, lol hope we both can do it. Got a plot in progress yet?

Did it last year and won. Thinking about doing it again this year. Not sure about a plot or anything yet, but my friend and I are thinking about writing the novel together. Not sure how that's going to work since we won't even be able to see each other... Still, looking forward to it, even with Revelations trying to gnaw on my time.

I've always wanted to write a novel (one of my goals for the near futurr) but November is such a bad month. Games, midterms, and all that jazz really take up my time. They really should make it like March or something where people have time http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

I lack creativity..so I doubt I can write anything...and if I could I'd be too busy playing Uncharted 3, Revelations and Sky Sword :P

@AdmiralPerry: Me and mine chose the same overall concept to work from but then we're going to branch off and do our own thing from there.

That's where allot of the complaints come from, November has allot going for it all the time, weather it be all the games that SleezeRocker mentioned or not being sure about the creative side of things.

Sounds cool, t260z! I met up with my co-author last night, and we finally hammered something out. Now I just hope neither of us gives up halfway through the month. I do like the idea of working with the same idea and branching off, too. Which reminds me, I need to get back into the writing groove!

That is exactly why I'm writing Fanfiction! I barely write as much as I should and when I do, it's mostly just world building.

I kind of put it on hold since I have to do some research for my NaNoWriMo novel...I've never writing anything historical before...or steampunk for that matter.

Anyways, keep me updated on that story though. I'll totally give my support, if that's worth anything

Sure, I'll keep you posted. Having some support would be nice, too--I did it by myself last year, and though I had other things to distract me, I almost lost my motivation. I also did fanfiction last year, which is why I kind of don't want to do it again this year. But I admit it is a great time saver!

And, go us for doing something based in history. Historical fiction can be quite difficult to write!
