How in the heck can I convert an MHTML file into something useable?

I can't import it into Adobe Acrobat 7.0 until I convert it into something useable. I can't seem import it into MS Word or Excel without getting all sorts of corruptions. I don't know what else I can import it to.

Any experts out there that can tell me??

I'd me happy to email it to someone if they can do it for me.

Thanks.

Have you tried right-clicking on it and opening it with Notepad?

I just tried that, and it will import the text into Acrobat, but there are GIFs in the document and those don't import.

I've also tried saving it as a web page and importing it, but that doesn't work either.

Wikipedia mentions MS Sharepoint Designer 2007 as being able to edit these files.

What is the ultimate goal? To convert the file with all formatting to a PDF?

If the MHTML will load in a browser, a long round about that might be a last resort is loading the file in a browser and try saving the texts and images separately (highlight text and copy/paste into Word; try saving images with right click or screenshots) to a folder and trying to rebuild the file by hand in Acrobat.

Thanks. Blocknote didn't work. There must be something corrupted in my MHTML file. Only part of it imports, and the reast I can't get in. Ultimately, I had to build the thing by hand in Paint Shop Pro. Here is what I've been trying to do:

These ranks were pictured on an old website that, AFAIK, is no longer available. I've had the MHTML file for the web pages for several years. I decided to put them into a PDF format for easier use. I have no idea who to credit for the graphics.

I read somewhere that if you change to 3 backslash's file may open
