http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDetail.do?oid=118273

this isnt a suggestion or technical only forum...

its general discussion about the game, and the reason i bought this computer was because of this game, so i want to discuss with others how my computer is

Is the 512MB RAM a single module or two 256MB modules?

well I guess I'm the only one who hates looking at stuff not even related to the game...or in no way will help me out.

Well this used to be a respectalbe forum...now it just seems to be spamtastic! Well ever since the game was released...
I just dont like having to sift through all this chaff to get to the good stuff.

Worst thing in forums is unhelpful people. Does that new PC have a PCIx socket?

You know Finch, over at the SH3 form at SimHQ we like to share what we go through for a game. We chat about anything to do with the sim even spending ridiculous amounts of money on it. It is called being a community.............. that cares to SHARE with each other!

a word of warning with Emachines...check to see what size the Power Supply is..as they are famous for putting underpowered power supplies in there computers..and they blow up very easy...at the minimum..you want a 350 watt PS...

This is as bad as a "will SH3 run on my system" when all they need to do is look at the specs.

or a "look at me and my Awesome machine" thread....what does it have to do with the game...i personally spent 250 for upgrades....but I do not feel need to start a thread to tell the world about it.....really what is the point?

anyway, you guys are write in that aspect that this is a gen. discussion thread....We should have a better forum so people can Sift the chaff so to speak....

SUBSIM is way more.....focused toward the game then here I must say....much more professional...less trolls...better atitudes.....IMHO. I really think since the game has been released this forum has gone a little south...but there is still good stuff here...it's just harder to find because of a wave a "new" posts....and I guess that is just me.

Hey Finch

for someone who hates useless threads, you've spent quite a lot of time posting in reply to this one. Start up you own forum if you have a problem with this one.

PS Raz, that quit a lot of pc for the money...if my conversion to UKā£ is correct.

ROCK-N-ROLL!!

Never give-up gaming!!!!

Ya know, I was on the Internet super highway when the flippin thing was an ASCI dirt road (Navy Intel).

I honestly believe I can attribute almost EVERY advance in this tech. to gaming.

MS Office? yeah, its a tool and she can spell-check my butt but blow me away with sound, graphics and immersing interaction? Well dang... its almost like sex... almost. *grin

Arcades are for kids.. I want to dive into a subject as if I really was there fighting Romans or dragons, Nazis or Alies.

I want to 'see' it, I want to 'feel' it, I wanna 'smell' it.. my game(s), not just 'play' one.

It won't be long until games are so real as to compete with actual movies.

I very much look forward to that. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Upgrade your hardware about every 2-3 years. I upgraded 2 months ago. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I 'spose so. There are many kinds of happyness.

My message to the hardware industry is "Keep on keepin' on"... my message to game developers is "Don't meet us... PUSH and keep PUSHIN' HARD!!!" http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Keep US upgrading to meet YOU!!!

Hoooooooooooooooooooo-YAAA!!!!!!!

He is correct about this.
I had my problems with power and it was not the amount but the stability.
A good power supply is needed with those fast cards nowadays
