So I was buzzing an Allied airbase on Okinawa with a Me 163 ( http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif) amusing myself by seeing how funny I could get that air raid siren to sound with such an extreme Doppler effect (it's scads of fun)! I made a high-G level turn to buzz the base again, and my port wing tore off at the root!

In all my Il-2'ing I've never experienced this and can only guess it's a new feature. Fantastic work!

I've had it happen in the YP-80 before. I'm thinking it was instituted in AEP.

It's been there in varying degrees since the original IL2 Sturmovik, but the amount of stress needed has varied considerably from patch to patch. Most aircraft will black you out long before breaking something.

I just got a P-51D-20 to do it after pulling out of a dive at 820 km/h IAS.
