8000 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
once you get to 4800 you have to lower the fuel mixture to continue to climb

With my crappy system I can't see the target above 4500 /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

you know what? I don't think you are supposed to see vehicles from that high up!

Right now, the dynamic campaign only let you bomb vehicle concentrations with the He-111. That's why I stopped this campaign. There's no point in sending a flight of 4 heinkels to destroy a moving(!) train when this can be also done with a couple of 109's with a bomb and a few cannon bullets.

If vehicles are for fighter-bombers and attack aircraft.

Heinkels should attack enemy strongholds (fortresses), bridges, railroadyards and industrial area's.

Yup, I tried the He-111 campaign a few times too but these dumb targets turned me away from it. I do fly it regularly in VEF2 and have done very well in it. I can bomb effectivly up to 6000m. Havn't tried going higher than this. Unfortunatly FB has horrible high altitude graphics so you really can't see what your bombing from that height until you are nearly directly over it /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif . In VEF2 I have simply memorized the target area's that I bomb. That way I don't have to see my target until the very last 10-20 seconds before bomb release.

At the start of WW2 the German army lacked experienced anti-aircraft gunners. The average gunner was so bad that the USSR decided to help them out. They did it by forcing some of their pilots to fly I-153 flak magnets. These planes were slow but very sturdy. This allowed German anti-aircraft gunners to get a large amount of target practice on a relatively small number of planes. Thanks to the Soviets help, by the end of the war the German anti-aircraft gunners were amoung the best in the world.</center>

I only fly it online, I love seeing the furballs down low while I sneak in and take out the base /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

BUT (!) from how high can you guys see targets exactly?

5000 M is where I bomb from in online games. You can see fine and working with the map to line up your target area helps. I've made it to about 7500 M and could slightly make out targets, usually a guess. With "Level Stabilization" on I usually move around the front nose gun and zoom in to look around. Took out three planes on the tarmac online last night, the best I ever got, I was just dropping the 70 lb bombs on their base and three planes spawned while the bombs were on the way, perfect lucky shot, nice spread across the planes.
