it shows how difficult it was in these days to get any serious information about your enemy !

This is one of my favorite WW2 web sites. I have gone back to it many times over the past few years, and every time I do I find something different to read.

It really gives you the "flavor" of what these men must have gone through at flight school...

Such was the Battle of Britain in 1940. Future historians may compare it with Marathon, Trafalgar and the Marne.

It is interesting to look at what the men of the day think about something that we have the benifit of looking at with 60+ years hindsight.
