Ok well I was working on another mission for my I-153 campaign earlier. Made it a rainy day, and at dusk so targets were very obscurred.
Yet my joystick just constantly thumped like when your taking off kind of thump. Also the aircraft seemed much less manueverable, and had an even bigger snap spin problem.

I figure maybe thats just the rain doing it, but is it supposed to thump like that? I reran the mission with a Hazy setting, and no thump.

Oh this isn't a mission building question it's just a question about the force feedback and aircraft reaction to rain.

I don't think this is a problem, and I don't think it's the rain thats doing it as such but the fact that there is more wind when it's raining. Maybe related to "thickness" of the air too.

Also happens in Thundery wether too doesn't it.

When the weather is set to rainy conditions or snow there is a really bad wind condition, it can make it very hard to takeoff as it always seems to be 90 degrees to the runway direction. Buffeting is also a major problem when airborne in these winds, especially in light planes like a Pz11. Realistically they would probably have scratched the missions in these conditions, in WW2 days aircraft were weather limited to a great extent, keep this in mind if you want to add weather effects to your maps.

It would be awesome though if storms when added to the map were random throughout the map with cloud banks and storm cells to avoid.
