Hey gang, does anyone know where I can get ahold of these from the period 1930-1950--even later would do,but I'd like to stick to "our" era if possible. I want to build it in FMB for missions/campaign that I'm working on, and would like some guidance as to what the place looked like. Even if the 4.0 patch/add-on has a Singapore map, I know I will want to spiff it up.

I've googled a million ways from Sunday, and not one aerial view--correction, there was one current one, but that didn't show very much of the harbor. Every site I found that has satellite views were paid sites, which I will do if necessary. But I would think there would be a cache of Allied and Japanese aerial photos around somewhere, but it looks like I may need to go to the Library of Congress--unless anyone else has some ideas.

Thanks!

TT: Thanks, I came across a lot of them like the first one, not enough of an overview of the whole city and harbor (and too new)--that's why I thought old recon photos would be best. As for the second one, *slaps palm to forhead* make that "999,999 ways from Sunday." I swear, I actually had "local govt. websites" on my check list, but at about 2:00 AM last night had to crash--had to work today. I'll check this out tonight.

TT: Thanks again--I really don't know how I missed the Battlefield 1942 website yesterday--maybe just got zombie-fied looking at hit after hit after hit. Anyway, I should have clarified that I have a number of references with on ground or oblique shots of many parts of the harbor and waterfront, but no aerial picture tying it all together--Borneo Wharf, Johnston Pier, etc. And the gun positions! Thanks again., m8! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif
