It was New World crop that would not have been found easily in the Old World in the early 16th century, and certainly not from pickpocketing a random pleb in a Roman slum. Just sayin'.

Well, with all the MMORPGs out there with Gargoyles and Bears carrying Gold and Magical Health Potions i'll let a bad guy get away with carrying a Tomato in ACB.

That's probably why they're a rarity...you can't exactly buy kilos of them like you cann these days.

I'm still curious what kind of people put their stuff in locked boxes and don't keep them in their own house.
Not to mention, why the hell would they put tomatoes and all kinds of other crap in them?

No you are right. Kids think nothing awesome will be in something in easy reach so they will just ignore it.
