I'm reworking some of the tracer rigs at work and I remember reading somewhere that the Japanese didn't use gun convergence. Is this correct? was it standard practice? or completely wrong?

Oh! Another question Does anyone know of any reference for tracer colors as far as what countries and what guns or ammo types used what color tracer elements? I could just use IL-2 but I need verifiable reference.

I'm an FX artist working on Battle 360. I have a chance to come up for air after working on Episodes 3&4 and I wanna improve on some things before being sucked back under by 6.

The historical and technical accuracy of what we create is very important to me.

Try asking at j-aircraft.com (http://www.j-aircraft.org/smf/index.php?board=3.0). They may be able to help.

There was a list posted a couple years ago that showed the tracer colors for the ammo type and the country that produced them. I will have to see if I can find it.
