Who cares what aircraft people fly?
Really, who gives a damn?

I don't care what aircraft people fly. On DF servers the people who cry 'noob plane' are the ones getting shot down.
I don't call anyone a 'noob' I let people make their own choices for aircraft.

I choose whatever aircraft I think will give me the advantage over somebody else. I play for fun (and to win where I can).

Everybody has the same choice.
Wish these people would put a sock in it.

This think with noob calling is more like "Psyhological war", put a plane in that cathegory so that your enemys wil stop flying it.
If a plane is easier to fly it doesn't mean the pilot of that plane will take you down...
All these ppl that are starting things like that, should fly campaigns, and see there how is to fly inferious planes, and maybe with some perseverance, even score a kil...
However if a plane is clearly overmodeled, then this things are somewhow "correct".
I liked the Hurry before the patch, I like it now, but I have always prefered the 109...
Is not like you fly a specific plane just becouse it feels superiour....

A 'good' landing is one from which you can walk away. A 'great'
landing is one after which they can use the plane again<center>

personally i am very tired of noob calling in all it's manifestations - ie noob planes, noob pilots

people call other forum users noobs because they have few post counts etc .... i was flying il2 for over 5 months when i made my first post here - if i had spent that time posting instead of flying i would have 1,000 post count but not be able to fly.

you are right - alot of the time people cry "noob plane" because they get shot down by them.

personally i think all this noob calling is stupid - and would be willing to wager those who call people noobs all the time are little more than kids.

erm either i will have egg on my face or you will scragbat/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

this post may well be to subtle for most to interpret.

so i will venture an explanation

rocrawler, i think has alot more than 10 posts under his belt...

scenario a) you don't know that = egg on your face

scenario b) you do know that and i missed your subtle joke = egg on my face

i would also wager many people will need an explanation for my explanation - i also expect many people are wondering what eggs have to do with anything

right thats it i am now off too bed - goodnight

I've already said who I was in another thread. I'm not hiding anything.

I just like calling people noobs. It's fun. especially when they start threads as lame as this one.

Pop quiz hotshot!
If a YAK shoots your P-47 down what do you do?
WHAT do you do?

Played on MANY servers tonight. The 's' key brings up aircraft models with the latest patch as you should know.
The majority of online aircraft on ubi.com are either hurri's, YAK-3's or LA-7's.
Over 100 people on Ubi tonight and they're all noObs?

Oh, hang on a minute.

Let me say it before anybody else does...

Ubi is the server for noObs.
Real people play on HL...

I agree. OTOH, it'd be a nice informal gentleman's rule that all noobs fly the I-16 (of course, don't tell them to map a key to raise the gear!). For the laughs, mind you.

I think it's standard for any game.

In IL2 you have newb planes in other games you have noob guns.

A good example playing SOFII online I take the SPAS-12. Full auto shotgun with no range whatsoever. Killer at point blank though.
I charge this guy, and he opens up missing me as I juke and jive towards him. Once close I open up and splat him with ease. Even though I take some damage just not enough.
His next response is calling me a newb or saying I'm usuing a newb cannon.

I'm a newb and if it's available you'll find me in an I-16 most of the time.

I find it strange that people think the I-16 is easy to handle in FB. It was much easier in IL2, no sputtering engine stalls. Keep forgetting not to pull negative G /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
