Hello gents i fly with you all the time on warclouds and was wondering now with the hitting power of the new 151s what you set your convergence at for the dora, mgs and cannons and if you like them set to one button or two, i like mgs=220 cann=225 but would like to hear others opinions on different settings(up close for power or further for spread etc). What kind of shooting you do most, deflection or up close. only curious see you online. Salute Anyone want o post theres go ahead mates

most of the time it's a matter of the "right" feeling. I for example never set my convergence more than 200m for fighters, for bomber interception it's 250. the sweeetspot for me is 150 and 180m, I set the MGs at 180, and I have a bit of time to open fire with the MG-151/20 at 150, or so it seems http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif I don't dare come closer http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif but the Dora guns are quite tighly packed together, so the spread is not much of a concern, at least not with the new MG151s. if you have a convergence of 250 m, you should have a maximum horisontal spread of about 2m at 500m(but it's the left gun hitting right and vice versa), which is pretty close, if you hit, that is

Demon! Go away, Beelzebub - I am the righteous god of Dora & the Holy Convergence must be set to 200m for her to bite http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

I use 300m, but my hit % is nothing to sneeze at so I guess it means little http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

However, I prefer Fw 190A and 90 degrees deflection shots. Even P-47s go down with a brief burst.

Just today I exploded a Spitfire barely inside icon range (500m). He was Split S-ing and I hit it from with 90 degrees deflection. Instant fireball http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

They can have their all MkIIIs and P-38Lames.

What Mausers hit goes down. And what goes down doesn't chase you around http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

Still 1000 for me. As far as I can tell the ballistics haven't changed, only the impact damage has been increased so I haven't seen any reason to change to a lower setting.

Jessi:

1000m works best for me

The guns are right on the wingroot so their "spread" doesn't really cause one of them to miss. Both rounds still hit. The difference is that the trajectory of the rounds are optimized for the D9s gunsight when set to 1000m convergence (imho).

Fatboy:

Sorry, that title is already taken http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

alternative ways : use WinRAR and split it to 10 Mb pieces, then e-mail them one at a time. the person on the other side needs to put them in the same folder and then open one of the .rar files and extract the movie. Downside is both of you need to have WinRAR.
Skype, MSN, Yahoo instant messengers, use the "send file" option.

Edit : it's on the yousendit servers here (http://s38.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3JU48FAR5QGGX3R9ZC9KJRABPN)

I use 400 meters. That is my common firing range, due to how I fight. I also like some wide fire arc qhentarget is close, so you don't need to aim so well.

Most imporatnat issue is to detect at wich distance you fire usually.

I also prefer Antons since I have a wider area of effect. That makes easier to hit snapshots.

FatBoyHK, try using yousendit.com.

It allows you to upload files of around a gig to their server, then sends your intended recipient an email with a unique identification code and they have a week where they can download it.

Its pretty good; secure, fast, reliable. You may get some pop-ups while doing the D/L, thats about the only drawback.
