I have a PAL xbox 360 and my brother is sending me an NTSC ACB from USA. I know it would work on my PAL xbox 360 but i am worried that it may not produce a good picture/video quality. Please, is there anyone who has tried this and can help me out? Thanks for the support.

Well, as you have the PAL Xbox360, it shouldn't be a problem anyways. As far as I know, North American games are always using PAL. And if it doesn't work... I think you could still get it to work, in some way. A friend lately received a Xbox game he ordered from the US. He couldn't play it because of the regional code. However, I visited him some days later and we played exactly the same game, the one he ordered in America. So, there has to be a way to "kill" the code.

Ok. Was the picture quality of the game good and was it played on a HD TV? Thanks a lot.

The TV had a 1080p support, but the game actually only supported 720p. But I didn't think that it was worse quality than any other game bought at a local store; in fact, it was quite the same. So as far as I can say, no loss of picture quality. We both could not recognize anythink like that, so I guess you wouldn't either. If there's a difference, it's only a very slightly one. No real difference for a human eye (although I think there isn't any difference at all.).

just a few things..

Bypassing the regional coding on games, can lead you into trouble with the Xbox Live enforcement team - if you play online..

The most common methods of doing it, can result in your Xbox Live account being banned.. just so you know..

With the Xbox 360 - all games can be played at 1080p - however in the vast majority of cases, it's just an 720p image being upscaled by the console, but the console does have some dedicated hardware to handle this - so the results look better than letting the TV do it in most cases http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

The PS3 - can only play certain games in 1080p - if forced to do it, so not to be confused with that - which uses software to do it, and results can vary http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Thanks. My xbox 360 plays all games and so far, i have not come across a regional code barrier. It has always been like that right from the time I bought it. Lol...it's so cool.
