I posted this in paint skins but thought others may enjoy them.

Ok, here we go......
The ugly kid in the red shorts is me. 1974 Eek

As you can see there are many airplanes there at the spray operation.

ID of the B-17 minus one engine is unknown to me.
ID of all other aircraft are unknown to me.

Here are the two B-17s in question.

N5017N is now "Aluminum Overcast" SN# 44-85740
N4710C is unknown but thought to be in Kissimee, Fl

The two B-25s are unknown

However, I know that one Loadstar was restored and flown out in 1992...I flew over in a Stinson L-5 and watched it.

The last aircraft, another Loadstart, was used for parts and I supose trucked out. The airfield is now closed. Any other updtaes on these planes?

Brilliant mate. Excellent keepsakes. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Where abouts was/is that? (The B-17s look kinda incomplete without their ball turrets huh?)

Oh sorry....

This was in Dothan, Alabama in 1974 at Wheeles (sp?) Field. They were used as sprayers. When I was at Kissimee FLorida in the nid 1990s, there was some B-17 parts as well as the wings and center section on the ground. You could still see the large spray tank in it and is why I thought...also by word of mouth...that it was one of these three.
