A simple question, why isnt the SU-2 detailed in the object database ?, if there was time to implement the new additions like B-17, DC-3, Zero and Ki-84, this little bugger should also be implemented, after all some people do wonder about its history.....

Maybe it still can be corrected.

I offer to write the texts for it in german and english if thats the problem.

Hunger

Su-2 wasn't last time I checked, PBY is under name PBN. The Su-2 truely is the forgotten plane in FB. The development team makes no claims as to its existance, but it is in game. I mentioned this oversight once before, few noticed it /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif .

At the start of WW2 the German army lacked experienced anti-aircraft gunners. The average gunner was so bad that the USSR decided to help them out. They did it by forcing some of their pilots to fly I-153 flak magnets. These planes were slow but very sturdy. This allowed German anti-aircraft gunners to get a large amount of target practice on a relatively small number of planes. Thanks to the Soviets help, by the end of the war the German anti-aircraft gunners were amoung the best in the world.</center>

I've sent a bug report about SU2 missing in the object viewer. I was answered that it wasn't bug : although SU2 wasn't scheduled, it happened to be implemented at the very last minute before the game was released.
Therefore developers didn't have enough time to include it in the object viewer

Old thing as there were many A/c left out - esp. those not needed stastionary in Il2's campaigns..

Like Macchi fighters e.g.

The old Dgen of Starshoy (before its implementation into Il2 FB) demanded A/cs as "stationary" when customising different campaign templates.

Any campaigns involving Italian squads (except 109-riders) could not be done/modified. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Simple answer then:

...not planned...

Well, that's it
