How do you deselect or remove the command in the control panel?

Do you mean 'how to remove a key assignment in the Controls setup page', or......? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Do you mean that you want to change difficulty options for a career campaign after you've started it? I don't think you can, unless there is an .ini file you can edit. (?)

The control panel where you designate the hot keys for the different functions in the game.

For some reason some of the keys are operating improperly, like the select engine keys.

Do I need to reinstall?

I also have some keys operating incorrectly. Typically combo keys involving SHIFT, ALT, ALT Gr or CTRL keys, and typically on my laptop.

Anyway, you can't remove a key assignment, but only replace it with another. Tip: replace it with a used command (es. "G" for the gear), and then reassign the "G" to the gear up/down command again.
The other command will remain blank (deleted then).

I'll certainly try that. Thanks

FWIW, I prefer to use the "Select Engines Left" instead of "Toggle Engines Left" for instance. Not really sure what the difference is, really, but found the "Toggles" confused me somehow, where the "Select Left/Right" works in combination with a "Select all Engines" bind.

Not sure if this will help or hurt, actually! This works fine for me. Since only One flyable plane has 4 engines, the left/right/all works just fine.
