Is there an FAQ in regards to avatar customization? If so, where?

If not, does anyone know if I can design my own clothes? This guy looks a lot like me, but sometimes his pants seem to be riding a bit, and I prefer something with more of a boot cut for the pants. I'd love to know if I'll be able to design my own decal for my shirt. "Free Urulive" - just cause it'll tick people off http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Hell, I've been picky about everything else, why not this? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Not yet. Maybe someday. Probably will end up being limited to Uru Prime though if you can.

Does anyone know how to import custome t-shirt designs. I have looked through the folders but I can't find anywhere I can place a picture to put on a t-shirt. Is this possible.

From what I read (an online chat I think, with Rand) there are no mod tools available, and none planned.

To have user custom clothes would mean that everyone seeing you would have to download your textures.

Hiya Farlesis,

To get an Avatar:

- Create an image with a size of 64 * 64 bytes (although the board software might actually resize it for you if it's bigger. To be tested). I took a screenshot of my avatar in Uru, resized it and saved it as a jpg.

- Upload the image on your domain on the web if you have one (or ask someone with a bit of free space to upload it on his/her domain for you).

- Click the "My space" button at the top of the page.

- Select to view your Profile

- On the page, you will find the Avatar / Picture URL field.

- Enter the location of the image you uploaded in that field. For instance: http://www.mydomain.com/pictures/myavatar.jpg

- Et voila! Next time you post, your avatar should appear.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

WendyG

My Avatar pic is 50 x 75 so it does seem to resize at least on that scale of things

That depends! Union or Non-Union?
