Or what the Brits said when a lone Tiger I emerged from the bushes in France late war to destroy 25 Allied tanks and vehicles before they had a chance to figute out what hit them.
When they did, it didn't help that their canon shells bounced off the Tiger's hard skin.
They where having their tea at the time, safe in the knowledge that the Germans where retreating and picking up their pieces.
Unlike your example , this was not science fiction.

Theres one problem with these quotes: you would never see the aircraft, youd be long gone by the time it's even 3 km away.

"-When in doubt, empty your magazine.
-Never share a foxhole with anyone braver than you are.
-Never forget that your weapon was made by the lowest bidder.
-If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.
-No plan survives the first contact intact.
-All 5 second grenade fuses burn down in 3 seconds." Excerpt from Murphy's Laws

Hi TooCool,

Nice to see a Korean squadron. You're using original Il2, right?

when do you fly?

"After seeing the jacket I went back to our base."
"What date was it?", I asked.
"It was the 12th of June," he said. "Because it was during the World Cup."
You were watching the World Cup?"
There were no televisions because they were haram [forbidden]. But I was following it in the newspapers."
What was your favourite team?"
"England. Michael Owen and I like McManaman and David Seaman."
"England is your favourite team and you are about to blow yourself up in the jihad against kufr?"
"Politics is one thing. Football is something else."

Bavaria is one of the oldest European states.
It dates back to about 500 A.D., when the Roman Empire was overcome by the onslaught of Germanic tribes. According to a widespread theory, the Bavarian tribe had descended from the Romans who remained in the country, the original Celtic population and the Germanic invaders.

He would probably say the same thing that today's pilot would say if confroned by whatever aircraft is flying 50 years from now, which will be what?
-super stealthy, but capable of sustained hypersonic speed and possibly sub-orbital flight.
-piloted by 10-brainpower equivalent quantum computer AI
-armed with 10 megawatt rapid-fire laser and/or railgun, targeted by on-board sensors or by tie-in to worldwide digital sensor net.

Then again once tactical lasers get up to decent power levels you might as well kiss goodbye to Tac air anyhow, it'll be shot down as soon as detected. Point defense lasers will probably render missiles obsolete as well.

I'd say LOMAC will be one of the last eras simulated, lets face it a Predator sim souldn't be to exciting would it.

Well, I wouldn't say this (my country is one of the developers of EF and is gonna buy a lot of them), but the F-22 is way more advanced than EF. EF is superior to any actual aircraft, but even if it has also supercruiser abilities and is more manoeuverable than a Raptor, it would never have the chance to get close enough to dogfight this stealthy all-avionics aircraft and its long-handed computer-radar-AMRAAM.

EF has AMRAAM, too, but it cannot manage with so many targets, so far, so well, w/o being noticed. And it's not only the aircraft, but the AWACS and EW that supports it from air & ground.

Of course, all this technology has a price. F-22 is far more expensive than EF, and, like B-2, is not very justified for the US citizen pocket since the fall of USSR and the slow-down of weapon development race.

It's simply too good to be necessary. That's why we can't see full units of this plane yet.

EF2000 doesn't have thrust vectoring. Su-37 Berkut is a prototype/testbed only design.
