I've got some more time on my hands these days, so I am putting more effort into learning FB. Until now, I've just futzed about with the QMB and gone online once in a while. Now I am actually pursuing a campaign in the I-16. In mission three we went out and intercepted some JU88s and a couple of 109s that were flying escort. I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't get a kill, but I did get both a 109 and an 88 smoking before squadmates popped them.

Here's the thing that has me stumped. After the enemy was down, our leader gave a vector and altitude for us to follow back to base. I turned to the vector he said and didn't see anyone. I checked my six and they were heading the other way. WTH? Are my squadmates playing a joke on the new guy? How do I keep on track when they pull this? Has this happened to you?

No, play the campaign. Just look out for your squad and ask the base for its bearing instead!
