I was knockin back a few brewskies tonight while flying and I thought of a few old-names from my old Jane's on-line days B- IL2. It's a shot in the dark for this community to recognize, but I would like to Salute a guy named Regor. (Passed away)
He showed me the art of turn- fighting in Spits in 1998.
Also there were: Fallriver, Rogerudder, Miss-Strega, X-Ray and Schatten from JG-52, C141mech, Diechoku, and so on...
Oh well.
I salute an old friend named Regor.
Thanks for all your patience and training, scraping your Spitfire's wingtip in the snow as
you got on my six, shooting me down, but then lifting me up and showing me how you did it, and having the grace to congradulate me when I finally got you too. <S>

M2morris,

Hey mate there is absolutely nothing embarassing about sharing a thought or memory, for someone special in our lives. You have honored your friend and yourself in keeping his memory alive. Theres nothing corny about having compassion, and showing genuine empathy for the good ones we have lost along the way. Wishing I could see alot more of it in our world today.
I salute you both.

Regards
Dag
