I don't really fly the P47 much but have noticed that when you shut off the power to 0% the engine still revs at 2500 and only hits 3000 revs at full power. Is this a bug.

With the American plane there is no manule prop pitch.

These plane have a constant speed propellor. Hence the RPM will always stay between 2500 and 3000rpm.


You can manuley decreas your pitch to help you slow down in a hurry. But like i said these plane's like the 47, 40, 39 and 51 all have constant speed propellor. You dont need to fiddle with the prop pitch.

When you rurned the power to 0% the prop automaticaly ajusted itself to stay at that rpm.
