There are no words to describe the gratitude I feel at this point. Every time I think that there can be no way you could top what you have done, you unfailingly prove me wrong. Cheers for being the most dedicated games developer whose wares I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying.

If you'll pardon the expression, I'd buy even a turd from you. S!

I agree wholeheartedly.

"IL2" is unique on my PC in that its been there since it was first brought out and shows no sign of being uninstalled any time soon!

There is NO other game/sim that come anywhere near that distinction.

There is certainly no other sim that even comes close.

It is unique indeed! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

Of course you'll need a place to store it.

My sentiments exactly, JetBuff. Anyone notice that their RPM and Boost pressures are up a bit since 4.03?

Oleg is new best (and old best too)!

Me too... I'm not a real pilot, or an engineer, or a programmer, I have NO idea what's supposed to be real/authentic in the FM - before I couldn't use the rudder without swaying all over the place, now I can - personally I like this better. Thanx again http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

A golden turd is still a turd. But this sim is neither, so no worries!

Cheers Oleg.

We thank him because he owes us bupkiss. We got our money's worth a long time ago. And yet 1c:Maddox still continue to improve and refine this great sim, free of charge. Go take a look around, simulation or otherwise, few games get anywhere the same support we've been enjoying. Heck, even Ubi is worthy of praise - consider in contrast how Activision actually explicitly prohibited CA from making more than 2 patches for R:TW.

But this is not the point of this thread. If you don't want to participate, it's your choice. The rest of us just wanted to say "Thanks" is all.

Out of the boxes FB+AEP+PF merged yes is very good but not great reputation with the FS
community in general (there will always be a few unhappy) if left with the lowspeed climbs
as they were. FB alone had it as the box version. Maybe that's a very good strategy to
staying in business is the store copies be more widely playable and acceptable and then
patch to more complex and real... except IL2 original was not done like that. Store
copies have to be the way the how much % buyers get the game and never go online for a
patch or forum. I think that % is getting smaller all the time though.

Many many thanks to Oleg & Crew, as well as the independent contributors for making this not only a classic, but epic simulator. It will be very difficult indeed to top this accomplishment that the IL-2 Series has become.

It's the game that keeps on growing- and for that, I and many others are extremely grateful for your efforts, dedication, and patience.

Regards-

Thank you here theank you there thank you everywhere.

It`s nice seeing all the thankyous but I think going out to buy another copy would do 10x better if you feel you should thank the dev team.

As for myself,I`m unable to toss money left and right then I`ll just see if BoB is Starforce equipped and buy it whatever the re(pre)views.

Thank you means sometimes more than money but for the time being money rule the world. So if you can give them money by all means do so.

I am joining the positive thoughts.
My humble opinion is that this flight physics will be very hard to surpass in next patches... (if it changes that is). & Mosquito gets unporked http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/metal.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/partyhat.gif

Many thanks to Oleg & CO.!

Actually, yes, every plane I've flown so far is much steadier, it gives the sim a whole new feel, at least for me, a much better feel IMHO. That said; Oleg & Team and volunteer contributors too http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/metal.gif You ROCK!

There seems to be more lovely looking skins for the Ju88, if they were there before I must have missed them.

I like this one better than any before it, overall and noting important parts count more.

Don't have to be bad ham-fisted to see a wobble, just plain ham-fisted will do and then it
is tamer slower effect.

And coordinated flight is necessary and possible, fly and shoot like krud without plus I
think I see more possible to lose some or all stability from slip flying.

Feel is like the plane has more weight and wind over the airframe also resists quick change.

I like it. Time to spend time playing at very low speeds. That's where I felt the most
loose feeling effects. I wanna see if the near-(full power)stall climbrate is not so easy
any more.

Stalls and spins are really class in IL2 series, BTW.

A real BIG thank you Mr. Maddox.
