You must not be running in simulation mode. I've yet to flip one in simulation mode. Destroyed quite a few cars though. GTR 2 promises to be huge step forward.

I hit the pit wall once in GTR. My pit crew virtually laughed at me.

I've gone full sprrd into wall on purpose, and I usually just get the car to bounce, but never roll.

No release date yet for GTR2, Jagdgeschwader2?

May I suggest you all try GT Legends. Same developer, same fantastic feeling, but good old racecars from sixties and seventies. Plus, it's a lot more manageable, ie cars are not as impossible to drive as in GTR.

The website says summer 2006. I can't wait to try it.

Look at the screens:

I love GT Legends. Amazing what you can do with a mini cooper! I don't like the idea of having to unlock cars though. Still a great driving sim.

Mini is not really my choice... I prefer the BMW 3.0 CSL (figure that!). I love the GT40, Porsche 906, 911 RSR and ´69 Vette. Some of them are real beasts. I love this game, it is fantastic. Almost as realistic as Grand Prix Legends.

I'm definatly a porsche 911 guy in GTL... in GTR which I prefer I'll drive anything..

a 911 around nurbgurgring is the best thing you can do in GTL IMO.

the big one takes like 10 minutes to do.. but its an amazing track.

SPA and a Saleen are probably the best in GTR.
