Okay stick freaks, I need some help here. I used to have a Logitech wireless and long story short, the first one got replaced free by Logitech, the second one I snapped in two during a raging fit sparked by the thing being a piece of cow dung. No more of that one, and I'm not too keen on Logitech now either.

Anyways, I need a wireless stick to allow me greater flexibility, ie. playing either at the PC or on the couch on a projector screen. I saw this baby at a local shop and figured I'd ask for opinions.

This is what it is:

Well, I have a wired version of the stick and its pretty nice.

Completly adjustable..hand sizes and left to right for you lefty's
keeps an allen wrench snapped on the base for easy adjustments.

Cant tell you about wireless interferance, but if a wireless mouse is working I'm sure it will too.

Hello Dexmeister,

I have one of these sticks and have found it to be very good apart from a problem with the main trigger sticking. This started after three to four months of hard use and eventually after a frustrating week of hoping it would free itself off, I switched the function to button number two.

However this leaves me with one weapon button short where it is most convenient especially in the heat of combat i.e. at thumb level.

This may have partly been down to my abuse of the stick due to my hopeless gunnery skills. This manifests itself in me gripping the stick too tightly and squeezing the trigger like a maniac till I hit something !! LOL

Apart from that it has performed well. The wireless connection has been very reliable, never losing it in use.Sometimes it needs reset(red button on the base)if it has been idle for a while. The battery life is pretty reasonable, and the wide base makes it very stable in use, even with my flying style http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

The stick is comfy in the hand and is easily adjustable and there are plenty of function buttons as well. You get some programming software with it as well for setting it up.

All in all I have been pretty happy with it and would buy another, but second time around would try not to be so unforgiving with it. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif I hope this helps with your desicion.

Thanks for the feedback folks. It looks to be a nice stick, glad to get some confirmation. Might have to go grab me one of them. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
