Hi there Guys and girls, I have been playing this game since its inception, and having recently returned form a trip to Australia I could not wait to play 46.
Unfortunately I cant get the game to load, I have purchased three different copies of 46 in three different stores in Ireland, each time with the same result. I put the Dvd in my computer but when I got to my computer and look at the dvd drive all I see is Dvd drive, ie: no Icon for 46, when I try to load the game all i get is an error message saying "windows cannot read from this disk, the disk might be corrupted or it could be using a format that is not compatibly with windows.
Has anyone else had a similar problem, and know of any possible resolution. I am going crazy at having all these new planes and not being able to fly them, nor can I fly online at all. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance.

Try updating the firmware for the DVD player.

What grndragon and FoolTrottel says, is sound advice. Update the firmware on the dvd drive, if that doesn't work then it could be that the ide cable has failed. Try replacing with another cable. Try looking for a driver update on the manufacturers website of your motherboard for the ide bus controller and if that doesn't work then either the bus controller itself is failing or the drive.

Some people have made the mistake of putting the DVD into a CD drive.
