I would like to promote the excellent WoP servers ("Zeke vs Wildcat" & "Spits vs 109").

These are screenshots taken from missions flown by the SvAF crew (F19VS and F16VS squadrons) on the Spit modded server last evening

Blenheim and Hurricane formations on Sv109Mod.

Mission:
Dynamo

Pilots (SvAF):
F16_Matz
F16_Neo
F19_Airborn
F19_Bluesummers
F19_Cona
F19_Deathlok
F19_Klunk
F19_lacrits
F19_Thunderbear
F19_Tintin

Objectives:
Attack on enemy ground targets N France.

Just a few screens.... First a formation of 9 Blenheims towards target (we were all shot down or rammed PLEASE do not ram bombers!!!)
Then a section of 4x2 Hurricanes.

PLEASE do not ram bombers!!!

+1

It totally sucks.

If I'd fly externals off I'd fly on WoP servers, nice ones!

No more spitVS109 for me... and I don't like PTO (usually no spitfires to take down)

If I want to see formations of bombers I fly in SEOW (we are doing BoB.. 30 Red vs 50 Blue, these divided in 30 bombers and 20 fighters) were I can fly "realistic missions" without newbies ramming me over the target or guys moaning against kill stealers... and "of course" weird admins.

Best server out there, imho. Hardly ever fewer then 30 ppl online at any given time, great maps, great plane sets. Nothing for solo flyers, however. It is near to impossible to get behind a bandit without beeing shot down by another in the process.

The SEOW-BoB is administrated by 32SQN_Brigstock, hosted on the server of the italian 22GCT (www.22gct.it) using the wonderful tools of Rnzoli and, of course, the amazing SEOW engine.

If you want information there is their forum but be aware that in you don't have a squadron you must ask to join one of the participating ones since every squadron has a commander (you can't join without a squadron), and SEOW is a serious thing (planning must be accurate and we fly 2 missions per week).

Sometimes the system goes down (server) but its a little sacrifice to fly in 80 pilots (in any case it goes down 1 time on 10). The starting time of the mission is always the same (if you don't enter you are out, no restart) so the mission are not so long as Il2war and the ROSS tournament.

Yesterday there was a furball between multiple 109s and SpitIs at 7500m... while hurricanes were attacking the axis bombers.

EDIT: of course.. is full difficulty.

EDIT2: we are using OUR mods and the package are constantly update to correct bugs of the game like the Ju88 (no protection... your flyable ju88 has the DM of an AI... it's because of this that you are always PKed), ammo data and engine (original Spitfires has a problem with radiator, we fixed it)

Some stats of who's flying...

As far as mission-oriented, FR DF servers go WarbirdsofPrey is where it's at.

Sure there are times you get the occasional tool, but in general, it has good pilot numbers and above average skill level. All that without silly icons, externals or radar screens (i.e. minimap path).

I like it.
