I´m about to buy one too!...I really like logitech´s MOMO racing (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/ZA/EN,CRID=2217,CONTENTID=6030)...but I also like Saitek's R440 (http://www.saitek.com/row/prod/r440.htm)....which one do you think is the best?

I know some people deep into the GPL game (at least they has been for years) The MOMO was a good wheel but most made their own wheel in the end...

I'm hesitant about the logitech, thier joysticks tend to break in like a couple months.

I had many wheels over the years but I recently bought a PS2 wheel that works on the PC called "Logitech Driving Force Pro". Although it does not officially list it as a PC wheel it works fine and with no trouble at all.

The latest beta drivers from Logi allow it to use 900o of movement for PC games (you can set it from 200o to 900o or anything inbetween).

I'm loving every mintue of it! The FF effects with this wheel are amazing.

I play mostly in this order GPL, N2K3, F1C 99-02, Richard Burns Rally and GTR (GTR is moving up the list, man it is that good). The wheel is great in every game.

You can get one fairly cheap at Tiger Direct, even with shipping they have beat any retail store I have seen by $40-$60.

The problem with FF wheels,is they're all of a low quality compared to the high end wheels. I personally don't like FF wheels, so I can go for a good wheel. I used TSW for years, but switched to an ECCI wheel lately. My main sim is GPL.

BRD has a FF wheel that should be close to release. It will be pricey though.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money, i'd say the Momo is the best bet. Then you can add some better pedals for it. It all depends on how serious you want to get.

If you can find an Act-Labs Force RS it is an excellent wheel. I've had mine for about 5 years and it is still perfect (gets a lot of use in Nascar2003 and GPL).
