Yes, Please post your current specs.

To answer your question in short though. The CPU/Ram will enable you to handle MORE stuff, but the Video card will make it all look nice!

I just installed an INVIDIA 7800 graphics card and http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/inlove.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/partyhat.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif I can't say enough good about what a HUGE difference it made!

I say again:

The more RAM the better, as well. I have 1.5 GB of DDR SD RAM right now, and soon will have 2 GB.

I still don't get reflections, though, even with water = 4. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

The best/easiest/cheapest thing you could do for your computer is add more RAM. Anymore memory is cheap, and to find it at the best price I highly recommend NewEgg.com

If you are looking at spending a little more money as well I always suggest a better video card. Look for one that has 256 instead of the 128. That would cost 150-200 for a good nVidia 7X00 series. If you added more RAM and a new video card you would have NO PROBLEM at all.

And finally, you could always see about what your motherboard would support for a new CPU. Anything over 2.4ghz would be perfect, but CPUs are expensive as well.

IMO though I would recommend adding more RAM and see how it works, if it does more for what you want but not all the way invest in the vid card, but stay with nVidia. They are pushing out better cards than ATI as of late.

That is going to mainly be processor upgrade and more RAM.

On my system (X850XT 2600xp 750 ram) I can get 60 fps in a dynamic campaign on perfect with normal settings. But when i change the campaign generator to give more ground targets and planes it drops back to 10 or lower.

In conf.ini, try setting:
