Not a grouse about not yet being in URU Live!

<Ducky voice engages>
Oh, no no no . . .
<Ducky voice disengages>

But The Mental Mob is having too much . . .
um . . .
mental trauma . . ?

trying to figure out statuses of threads it has visited . . .
or not.

getting used to the . . .
um . . .
unique layout and posting controls here.

dealing with the "no Preview" of said posts . . .

But like the title says . . .
it's a raincheck . . .
hopefully.

The Mental Mob will check back now and again . . .
and check out how the forum's evolution is coming . . .
and see if a "connection' can be made with it at that time.

AND . . .

maybe with a little passage of time . . .
the chaos of birth for Uru Live . . .
and Ubisoft's processing . . .
of user interests and needs . . .

will have matured a bit.

Tink looks forward to an atmosphere . . .
in which troubles with access . . .
product shipments . . .
and formats on the forum here . . .

have matured into a less stressful experience.

Unfortunately . . .
the Mental Mob's got a near panic attack mode going here right now. . .

like the ones which occasionally pop up on a very crowded . . .
chaotic . . .
rapidly flitting . . .
unorganized . . .
mingled response . . .
chatroom.

and even though DaDungeon KNOWS it will pass . . .

the "character" . . .
the "feel" . . .
of the place right now . . .

is too much for Ms Hide and Tink.

The Mental Mob will be checking back again a bit later . . .
when the weather's a bit calmer.

Inter-universal Headquarters for Guild of Doofi . . .

I'm with Tink and Ms Hide.

My recipe:
Take a little decorum, add a dash of hope and a squirt of happiness.
Mix in a cup of raw helpfulness and pour a gallon of inexperience and blend till you get a nice, brown, congenial forum!
Spoon into small topics and bake in a medium discussion.

Best served not hot (under the collar).

Awww.....Tink. It's going to get better. Real soon, I hope. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

And t8mld...that was wonderful. Excellent advice for all! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Tinkster - you want a panic attack, just have a total spammer adopt your moniker but for a single digit.

It's enuf to force a guy to change his name . . .

Did he adopt your name..or did he get it from the Sean Connery movie same as you did?

maybe he's just as miffed with you as you are with him.

there was a Zard0z on some Russian Tolkien forum. Not sure if its the same guy, but hard to find an original name these days.

I've always enjoyed the limited use of my name. Certain people from Ontario recognise where I got it from, but for the most part I don't have trouble registering for accounts with it. I'm pretty attached to it, since I've been using it for almost a decade now. Plus it's got a neat story attached to it... But that's something for another time, and another thread...
