Anyone fly this yet? I went up against a pair of them in my 190 A4 and they were actually a lot to handle now. I didn't have a chance to fly one yet, but it seems like it would be a nice plane now.

The P-40 is vastly improved, but I thought it felt a little more sluggish than before.....

I think it flys great. Can easily out turn an Ace AI Bf-109G-2 and any Fw-190A. Doesn't lose as much e in a turn. Stall toned down a bit.

Turns great, wonderful guns for those 109s (190's still tough).

And for those that flew in 1.0, we can dive now!!!

woohoo

It's been - combat flaps no throttle for months - now, rip it open - LOL

They still get ripped apart with one good burst from a 190, but then again anything short of a P47 does/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

i always fly the p40E, seems more manueverable with the shorter tail, or atleast it was in v1.0, havent tried the p40m yet in 1.1

but i was getting tired of the p47 rolling like a b17 still after the patch, so i got my p40e and love it so much more now

managed to get a 190a9, and a 109k4 in a single flight with it

cant wait to try it in a early war server
