Hawgdog--

There was a problem with java errors after one of the patches (2.04 or 3.02??) that caused CTD several minutes after starting the game. I did a quick search, but couldn't find the threads for it. (FOUND IT! http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/49310655/m.../r/22310206#22310206 (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/49310655/m/81310206/r/22310206#22310206)) Don't remember the solution to the problem.

I'd say that if the game is running without problems, ignore it.

Each and every time IL2 crashes (or whatever reason) a file like this will be created.

You can use it to troubleshoot the problem.
Well, that is.. if you can make sense of it's contents. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

There's six of 'm on my PC, and according to the file's creation date/time stamp, I've had six crashes of IL2 in the past six months...

Like what Lion said.
If it runs, enjoy it. Don't worry. No problem.

Have Fun!
