This man is THE reason the USA is the world power today, and we could easily loose that position because he is now dead...

The greatest F-100 pilot of all time, greatest Military modern military thinker. Still mentioned today by businessmen, who heeded his advice. The US Military however, does not choose to recognize him. Only one USAF General was present at his funeral. However, there were a large amount of marines. A marine Colonel placed an Eagle, Globe, and Anchor next to Boyd's ashes, while two F-15s flew over head.

http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gifNot a famous ace but someone who uttered an immortal speech or 2.
I have been here and i was surprised at the lack of pomp around it,it's there but you have to find it and the village and church are small unassuming places.
