I usually fly 50% fuel, but no matter how much fuel I select to take on the Ta the fuel gauge indicates a filled tank as if I selected 100% fuel.
Something fishy? Perhaps.

Fish

if i remember correctly, the reason the ta does that is the gauge is reading the main fuel tank, not the tanks inside the wings. you empty the wing tanks 1st. then the gauge starts to read as you empty main tank.

man that fuel gauge doesn't indicate how much % of fuel you have with yourself, it displayes how much liters you are carrying.

the Tank gauge is the same as used in the A8/D9 it can only show 500 liters i think, but the ta carries twice that amount.
BTW: you can see this in the FW190F8 too.

So then if you select 25% the gauge should be halfway, showing 250 liters.

jep.

i don't know how much fuel the TA actually carrys but i think it has a pretty long range compared to other FW's.

Speaking of fuel gauges, what's the story again regarding the Russian Mig-3? It's gauge seems not to be working properly (I think this has been a problem for a wbile, no?).

Last time I checked, the MiG-3 gauge works.

Again, the gauge only shows 300 liters. It won't move until you have les than that. The MiG-3 have over 600 liters of fuel.

The JU87 gas gauge seems to work this way too.

The Ta-152H still burns more than 1200l per hour. At 100%. It was 640l/h at Sondernotleistung.
Also Maddox din't fix the 109F and 190 fuel amounts although he told us he would http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif . He even told us that it *has benn fixed already* in the PF release, but nuffin. What a shame. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif
