After playing AC2 and AC:B I've learned more Italian (and a little Latin) than before. So far I could only mention dishes from the Italian kitchen and gelato http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

But ofcourse I forgot all of them so I thought I'd start this thread and collect your favourite quotes from AC2 and AC:B!!! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Mine is in my signature, quote from Caterina Sforza: Vittoria agli Assassini!!!!!

I like the time when ezio is chasing Cesare and they hit each other. He only said: "Cazzo" http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

In AC2 I had once when I climbed a building and reached the top I heard someone yelling: "you do not have to do this!" followed by guards attacking me. They thought I wanted to jump or something http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

This and

"I can't die! I am beautiful!"

Leonardo: "I work on the small portrait of a woman. I am growing rather fond of it."
Ezio: "Do not let a beautiful girl distract you from constructing my designs."
Leonardo: "Have no worries. Women provide little distraction."
Ezio: "Wait, I don't get it."

Some of the best quotes were between these two.

Studying a Latin degree – should have spotted that as Latin

Feeling shame http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/disagree.gif (Thought it was Italian or something)

Clearly too much playing AC and not enough learning Vocab…. going off to do it now

It sure as hell is correct!

If we're talking just Ezio, one of my favorite quotes from him is:

Grimaldi: "We kill thinking it's best for us, do we not, Messer Ezio?"

Ezio: "I do this not for myself. Compio questo sacrificio per il bene superiore. Requiescat in Pace".

I also like the quote from Il Mentore himself: The Auditore are not dead! I'm still alive, me! Ezio! Ezio Auditore!

Leonardo: "Girls do not provide much distraction"

Ezio: "....I don't get it"

Damn, someone got there before me http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Funny convo, that one.

Although... contradicts the Da Vinci Disappearance, which I did before this convo, where Ezio laughs at Leo for shagging his assistant.

Why did a bold man paint rabbits on his head?
- Because from afar they look like hares. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Stop, we just want to talk to you.

Figlio di putanna!

Does anyone know what annoyed citizens call Ezio sometimes, to me it sounds like "gombolo"?

This one is a part of a longer line, but my hearing is totally letting me down with it, "something-something, a real model gombolo!". The way they say it makes me chuckle every time so I'd really like to find out exactly what they are saying.

Katrina "Oh no you don't." Ezio "Heh Heh." as he drops her into the haystack.

This is my all time favourite:

Frederico Auditore: It is a good life we lead, brother.
Ezio Auditore da Firenze: The best. May it never change.
Frederico Auditore: And may it never change us.

As soon as I heard this quote in the intro scene of AC II I knew that I will thoroughly enjoy this game. It is probably one of the best video game quotes ever.

One of the most catchy ones, that I may have used when cooking and someones annoying me http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Guard: 'No doubt your eager to put your tounge to his boot'

Altair: 'Another word, and ill put my blade to your throat.'

Guard: 'No doubt your eager to put your tounge to his boot'

Altair: 'Another word, and ill put my blade to your throat.'

I love that little exchange there:

*Altair says nothing*

"Silence is just another form of assent"

And of course the talks between him and Malik were also great.

Altair: Safety and Peace, Malik.

Malik: Your presence here deprives me of both.

and at the end

Altair: Safety and Peace my friend.

Malik: Your presence here will deliver us both.

Guard comments when altair killed someone with his hidden blade probably(How did he do that?!).
Also Connor : "While men of courage write history of this day, the future of our land depends on those who are truly free."
and
Clay:"What is a man but the sum of his memories? We are the stories we live! The tales we tell ourselves!"

ALSO

William: "You never should have come here. You put everything on the line - for, what? So you could rescue your father?"
Desmond: "Yeah."
