View Full Version : Questions for the patch

I just had the opportunity to play for some time with the new 401 patch and it is a big change especially in aiming. With 304 I was using ivans settings and with practice they were very enjoyable but now I am back to my old wobbly self. I have CH stick and pedals and any suggested setting would be good.

BTW, the new patch is world appart from the old game. B&Z seems more effective now and the AI has learned a lot of new tricks, they even crash like rookies when at lower skill. And the german 20mm is really deadly now http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif
Overall the game keeps improving. When is the Dornier with the rotors on the front and tail coming out?

Practice, practice, practice. The modified FM is a bit tricky to get at first. A lot more rudder input and trim adjustments are required within the power ranges and aircraft flight attitudes. Some folks report a bit of success by adjusting the filtering on the input (increasing). Others have fiddled with the inputs across the entire band (0 to 100).

Ivan's settings are a good starting point.
Trial and error will get you to a set you will be satisfied with.

No magic bullet I'm afraid but I hope this helps a bit.

Another free http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif add-on should be out in September or late August. If the Do 335 is going to be in, I don't know.

I think the best way to think is to assume we're getting nothing, zero, nought, zilch - until it actually arrives, and also not to speculate.

That way people are not going to feel let down.
