Ok, I've had this mobo for about 6-months and have been using a 7900GTO with Core 2 Duo 6600 (2 cores).

I'm looking to upgrade after hearing about the Nvidia G92 PCI-E cards, but have only just seen that they are PCI-E 2.0

Will these cards work in the P5N32E- Sli board?

Secondly I am also looking to buy a Quad-core chip and was thinking about the 6600 Penryn (when released in the next 2-months). Is it known whether this chipset will be supported on this board, and if not should I just go for the Q6700 that is currently the best VFM chip out (4x 2.6GHZ processors).

Honestly I was looking at buying the Intel® Core™ 2 Quad Core Extreme Q9650, but would like to know if my Mobo would support it.

Thanks for any help and advice, cheers, MP.

Yeah I think Penryn would it has 1333 bus support.

I also think PCI-e 2.0 cards are backward compatible with 1.1

They´re (G92)backwards compatible.I´m planning to get one of those 8800 gts myself

About your motherboard:

Looks like penry is ready for that one.

PCI-E 2.0 cards are backward compatible with PCI-E 1.1 slots, but not with PCI-E 1.0. So make sure you have PCI-E 1.1 before buying the card.
I've seen a lot of people complaining about this problem on Nvidia and EVGA boards.

For Mobo/G92 videocard compatibility check this thread on EVGA forum:

Hi Jaws, following your link and a bit of back=paging got this link with Asus users:

Great news the P5N32E- SLI is PCI-E 1.1 so all G92's will work with it.

and Deeds linked to this:
