It seems that this new dvd and the updates will be for sale only in Europe and Australia. What happened to all of us on this side of the world who paid for all the Forgotten battles sim and addons.
It seems that ubisoft or oleg maddix is cutting there own throats here. The community is slowly turning its back on ya oleg.
I am sure your Bob project will be availabe here on our side of the world. But your slowly cutting your throats with this latest move.

Too bad.

GoGamer said they'd have it for us 'Mericans.

I'm not worried and most of the rest aren't either. It'll get here just a little later than EU: not enough to split the community either.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

No no no

The atricle that makes everyone so "sure" that the NA market is ignored did not say that therre would be no NA release!

It gave release dates for Europe and Australia. That is all. Many people assume that this measn no NA release

There will be a NA release. The dates have just not been announced. UbiSoft has used a policy of staggering releases around the world in the past. Nobody knows why, but they do it. Relax. The US and Canada dates will be announced

Also, lets not forget that Oleg is only the Developer, not the publisher. So, if there is a release date, it is not because of Oleg;
Chuck is right, there will be a NA release.

Aw c'mon .... he barely got any mileage out of that rant ...... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
Please, please, please ... have some courtesy for your fellow forumites ... at least let their rants, no matter how misguided, go a couple of good responses before injecting logic and reasoning.
Thank you !

Release in the US will be anounced separately, no need to jump into conclusions.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

Made in Russia - distributed out of France.

What a shock!! I suddenly realise that the world does not revolve around the Canadian and American continent.

Before the creation of Oleg and Team's wonderful flight sims my knowledge of warbirds was limited to a narcissistic-like world view of North American (and a few UK) plane sets.

Thanks for the education you Russian geniuses and may you have ever more success [raises beer glass in a salute].<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Unless the other release is right at the beginnning of November, they better not stagger, if it's not out before Thanksgiving, they will have blown Christmas.

This assumes Ubi does rational things and makes decisions based on those rational things. I give it 50/50 at best, and I am giving Ubi the benefit of the doubt.

True, it's sad since what, 75% of all US retail activity happens between Thanksgiving and Christmas, right? It's on that order, anyway.

Glad to hear there will be an north american release. Being from canada I was starting to worry. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Being one of the many who signed that petition wanting something just like this with the 4.05-4.07 add ons, I am more than willing to fork over the dough for it so long as they can get it here.

First off..... this is the 21st century.... even if it is released in the UK first there is nothing stopping you from getting it. Secondly..... Considering all the "Hey I'm new her how do I..." posts and the quality of this sim, planesets etc... even with non flyable bombers and the most glaring omission of all.. the flyable Avenger... Id say the U.S. market is pretty solid and hardly turning it's back on 1C.
