Obviously your engine has been damaged and you are soon to throw a piston out your DB engine.

The nose smoke was always there since FB. If you were to go very very fast on that jet, the nose will flare up and blast your remains all over the country side.

It's called OOP, all Messerschmidt objects in OlegWorld have OilAllOverNose method inheritedly checked On on LightMGShot event...

You can't tell when I am kidding yet either eh? Oh well you'll understand me better when you have more seat time.

I think that smoke is from fuselage fuel tank if Schwalbe has it there anyway.
Other than that I cannot think of anything else.
Happened to me too many times...

Condolences to all who are experiencing 262 nose smoke after encountering gunfire. I am not a heavy user of the 262, but have probably used it at least 50 times without encountering that unusual phenom. My customary fate is a flaming turbo caused by a chance AAF heavy bomber .50 cal. hit, or by my forgetting myself and throwing the throttle from 80% to 100%. Maybe it has something to do with the 30mm ammunition---cartridges cooking off after a hit? I don't think the 262 has a fuselage fuel tank.

I have noticed it before too. It is probably just a bug, but lets just say that the ammo is slowly burning in the nose.

You are not understanding him. He does not mean he is a more experienced flyer. You only have 34 posts; he means experience on this forum.

He was kidding, friend.

Correct. A small fuel tank just over the main wing spar, in front of the cockpit.
