BTW, is it even possible to smirk in a non-smug manner?

It appears so, if your doing it.

Just take the tablet and sit in a darkened room.

Yep, found that if I clear all my cookies, cache and temp inet files, it goes away.

Chekc to see if it's not a webby hijack, that claims your name and pwd. this has been happening with internet banking so people have been losing cash.

Before you login to the address use IP_find to make sure the IP address is the same as the UBI secure server??

Same here, but not every time I try to see the forum. When happens, I exit the browser, wait a minute or two and try again. Normally all goes well at the second attempt.

I'm glad Feathered started this thread. I was about to try reconfiguring me Linux. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

hi all,

when you get this message about 'still logged in as etc', close your browser and check in task-manager/processes, if there is still an instance of the browser running (ie. 'iexplorer.exe' or 'firefox.exe'). close this instance via task-manager and it might work again. this can happen, when a plug-in (or 'extension' for 'firefox') keeps the browser-instance running in the background - like 'xpcom', 'apcom' or scheduled tasks, fe. update-checks.
examples are some versions of 'windows-defender' ('iexplorer.exe') or 'allpeers' ('firefox.exe')

I've been getting it for the last 3 or 4 days. I re-login and then I can visit the forum again. If you obey its commands and do whatever it orders you to do, it likes you.

I have the fix...

Go to the main UBI website. If you are still logged in, log out, and then log back in (with the remember me feature checked). Close your browser. Everything should work fine now. I did it and haven't had a problem since...

Your cookie needs to be 'reset' or somesuch.. This has happened here before...around the time of the Pe-2 release as I recall.
