How can you guys rate a game you haven't even played? That's beyond me. Also, who cares about site scores? If you enjoy the game, that's all that matters, to me anyway...

They're not rating it, they're predicting scores.

Predictable reply is predictable. And scores matter why...?

Its more based on the scores that game sites usually give. Like u can expect or predict the lowest score from IGN, thats actually for sure - many times its not even fair. gametrailers usually gives very good scores.

You're criticizing people for something they're not doing. That makes you're post basically spam. They're just predicting ratings, not judging the game itself.

Scores matter because it shows what a objective judge thinks about a game. A lot of people will base their decision of whether to buy, rent or not bother with a game. They are very influential and important to the industry. A lot of people are not die hard fans like most of us here. Reviews and their scores could be the deciding factor whether a game sells well or not. As to why we are predicting their scores is 1) it is fun to guess what will happen. 2) With only a month to go a lot of sites will get copies soon enough and will make them post them anyway. 3) Again with a month to go and a lot of information now being released we have enough to do so. 4) Lastly, we have covered as many topics that we can come up with, with so little time left so it gives us something to do without creating repeat topics.

I'm woowu, I don't understand the idea behind this topic.

I don't get how you can predict what game reviewers are going to score the game, when they've only seen a few hours of the game..

Why not just wait and see what they actually score the game? Regardless of the fact, no matter what reviewers score the game, you will all buy Revelations. Main reason being that you're on these forums so you have an interest in it.

Really, don't understand the idea behind this though, feels like the OP just needed a reason to make a thread =\

whats so hard to understand about this topic? Its just for fun. No different then people predicting what team is going to win the Superbowl or the Stanley cup before the season even starts. Its just speculation for the sake of speculation cas its fun and its something there interested in.

I do get where you're coming from but it's a pretty pointless thing to speculate on. However, I can respect your opinion and will leave you to enjoy it dude!

Uh.. IGN gives AC low scores?

Last I checked anything 75 and above was in the good category, 85 was very good, and 95 was excellent.

Or maybe that's just the way I rate games..

IGN will prob be between 8 and 8.5 and we will all throw a fit like last time and then they'll make another video mocking us for it and the game itself because they are incredibly bias to certain games. Everyone else will give it a 9+ rating.

I thought most reviews were more or less bought off. I don't really know how most of these groups typically rate games but from what I've read and seen of Revelations I'd say my expectation is a solid 9/10. I'm not too keen on the Assassin Den/Tower Defence move, and being in the middle of a mission when I have to save a tower etc.

Besides that, things are looking pretty great.

IGN - 8.5

From what i've seen so far I would most likely give ACR a 9.

Overall I'm thinking of:

8.8 to a 9.4

But I doubt it'll ever get a perfect.

The things they'll push it down for are probably because of playing as Ezio again and some things being unbalanced, Multiplayer matchmaking time and Desmond's role and gang not being big enough...Revelations is trying to change that though.
