S!

Is it just me, or is the P47 Rolling like a IL2 now? Thats an awfull slow roll rate, and the speed seems down too?

1.1b p47 performance seemed better imho than in 1.11 it's a brick now, and i know it wasnt the most nimble AC but wow what a slow roll rate.

The P-47D-10 and D-22 are ***fairly*** accurate, too high at low speed, too low at high speed. But a good compromise if that's the best Oleg could do with them.

The D-27 is a just a mess.

Chimp, I find the D-27 to be a bit more stable overall, especially at high AoA. The 22 and 10s just spin with the mere thought of using the elevators.

What is your experience in this, and, what do your books say about it?

Not that it will convince Oleg, but, I'm curious. And maybe we can show even just 1 of the Devout the truth. That would be a victory in itself.

Force feedback helps a lot. Mind you, since I started
using a FFB stick I find that if I clip the grass
on the egde of the runway at all, it turns into a rollercoaster ride, with the stick being almost shaken
from my grip, with an almost certain crash the result.
FFB really does help you ride the edge of the envelope
at other times, though.

No good for me. I'm a Cougar owner. I don't really feel I'm missing out on FFB either. Too much about FFB sticks that I don't like. Twisty-rudders, lack of proper - crisp centering, poor emulation of FF, etc.

Not to mention the advantages of the Cougar. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
