Still paddling my "canoe" off the east cost of England. Ran across a coal ship stopped dead in the water. Near her was another ship with lights on. I put a torpedo in the party boat to no effect, again and again with no result. Finally I put one in coal carrier behind it and up she went. Upon moving forward I found my U-Boat passed right through the still stationary Christmas boat.

Sprite? Glitch? Flying Dutchman?

Yep, know that.

I once encountered two C2's like this. One took 5 torpedoes to sink , the other got 11 !! torpedoes and was still swimming. I guess thats some sort of bug from the vanilla SH-III. It made its way through all of the mods.

Your party boat is a light ship which had to be classified as a environmental object in GWX 2.0 in order to accommodate all the extra ships they added. So you can not destroy it. The coal ship is parked there to give you something to lock your scope on, since it will not lock onto environmental objects.
