Yes, but there are several specifications:

1024x1024 8bit indexed colour bitmap BMP

Yes, be certain to check out the Paint Schemes forum here. If you can't find what you're looking for, don't hesitate to ask over there, either.

I saw from your other thread that you like flying the P-38. Don't be disappointed that there aren't as many skins available for that bard as there are for the Spitfire, Bf-109, P-51 and so on. Part of the reason some people don't skin the -38 is because of the poor mapping (the way the skin file is applied to the 3D model), especially since the engine nacelles and booms are mirrored.

There are also a lot of skins and skin packs (nearly 6000 of them) over at Flying Legends (http://www.flying-legends.net). You will need to register (registration is free) there to download anything.
