It is more manueverable than a Zero and mowed down it's opponents with brutal efficiency.

MY god! It's the next generation of Russian fighter aircraft. Let me tell you something, them Russians sure know how to cheaply and effectively design a "flying blade" in response to the US-AirForce Raptor!!
Think about all the possibilities. It can even take out ground troops by simply slicing them up. Very much more effective then the collateral damage a bomb yields.
Although, how does the thing stir in the air if it appears not to have rudders or aelrons??
It defies physics, the thing has no freaking win. Oh dam, what on earth did they create?

A toast to the Russian Revolution.

YES!!! Think about the turn rates on this baby! AND we can finally have a true Kamikaze aircraft! Specifically designed to get on top of enemy planes and systematically trim their way through its armor plating and into the cockpit!

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!! Very funny!

Hey Ivan!!! Tell Oleg they would make excellent targets for pratice. Imagine, tens of these things flying around like nuts with realistic evasive combat movements so we all can hone our fighting skills. They cant shoot back, but they could ram too.
Would be freakin awesome to paint small lawnmowers on the side of a cockpit! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

The 'lifting body'has been used a lot in the past.~

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lifting_body

They have been around since the 1920's, some designers such as Vincent Justus Burnelli experimenting with them throughout their life.
