I-185 M-82, 6x rockets, 25% fuel, default skin. 25% fuel works good for me in almost every plane because the lighter load increases the speed pretty significantly. Except for planes like the La-7, if you get a fuel tank leak and you have 25% fuel, your engine will be dead in a matter of minutes.

I cruise with rads at 8, 95%PP, 100%throtthle + wep, I switch gear as soon as my boost drops, when I dive I reduce PP to 80, after pull-up, I close my radiators to reduce drag and set PP back to 100, when I finish climbing I'm overheated so I again reduce PP to 90%(throtthle at 80-85) and fully open rads, after it cools down, I return to cruise setting, also if I dive below 2500m I switch gears accordingly http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif

TX-Zen, surely you meant 100 and not 1000 for convergence??!?!

Well, for Monza I like full settings on the dampers, hardest springs, "1" on the front splitter and "6" for the rear wing. Hard tires all around, to cope with the Parabolica under full fuel loads (and to a lesser extent, the Lesmos). No rear sway bar installed.

6.5 cm / 8 cm F/R ground clearance with no packers; so she does not bottom out on the dip when crossing under the bridge under the old circuit. According to the telemetry, I have rougly 2 mm to spare under full compression at that point. Perfect.

The dip at Eau Rouge at Belgium on the other hand...

Dogfighting setup:

Pizza on the plate, diet coke on the coaster, baseball game on the TV.

Plane: whatever.

No I'm pretty sure he means 1000m. I think that is essentially giving him purely boresighted guns. Its an interesting experience but I couldn't get used to it.

My personal settings:

Tempest Mark V
Default Armament
50% Fuel
Customized skin by Ian Boys that says ICE on the side
Cannon convergence set at 290m (275m for machine guns)

with planes having their guns close around the nose this "1000m" convergence is working pretty well - but im to lazy to change settings from plane to plane - so im sticking with my normal 200m most times http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif .

A set of wings, two stabilizers, a rudder if there's one lying around, and the occasional engine-driven propeller... or two.
