I just read that it will be called Copernicus Conspiracy. It will be available launch day. Good stuff if you have a ps3.

As long as we don't get stupid 'corrupted memories' that we have to buy back I don't think I care too much.

Thank you Ubisoft for doing this DLC the way it was meant to be done, free of charge. This helps reduce the sting of having to buy sequences 12 and 13 in AC2.

hopefully, it will be eventually avialable for xbox live users (so they don't feel left out, one of the guys in the archery club i'm a member of is an AC fan, has an xbox 360) and will hopefully be intergrated into the pc version (like the dlc was for ac2)

I pre-ordered the game for the ps3 first but because all of my friends have an xbox i cancelled the other pre-order and changed it to the xbox one. Tbh if i had to way up a free dlc against on-line co-op with my friends the latter option would definitely outway the first. That is not to say that the dlc is bad. I pre-ordered it for the ps3 because of it but then realised i'd rather have it on xbox.

Looking forward to it. And protection missions? Something like when we were protecting Rosa in AC2?

The article says that the missions are part of the game's story, so PC and 360 players will not get that bit of the story? Will the content be released later on as DLC or are they a limited time thing?

It's great the PS3 is getting the missions first but I hope Ubisoft decides to release the Copernicus parts for PC and 360 a few months later because they seem to have a deep historical story element. I personally wouldn't mind paying a reasonable amount for them.

I hope you can answer my questions Mr_Shade
Thanks

While the missions have a story, they aren't story missions. They're not like the numbered sequences that make up the main story, which is what Mr. Shade was talking about.

Well, I try to be nice to Ubisoft once in a while. But with this, they have definitely alienated Xbox owners. I only hope that it gets released for Xbox damn soon afterwards, and that it's free for us as well.

There's so many things working behind the scenes that we can't even tell. What if Sony is paying Ubisoft extra money to have the content released to them? Maybe Sony is offering better support through the PSN or easier access to customers? Can you blame Sony for trying to make their product superior than the Xbox offer to try to pull more customers?

No. Not really.

Edit: If you think Ubisoft is intentionally favoring the PS3 over Xbox 360 you're terribly mistaken. Developers that work multi-platform do their best to make an equal product across the board so it's accepted well by both companies and neither feels like they're being shafted. Also, so us the customers get a great experience either way and continue to buy their products, no matter the platform.

This isn't Ubisoft just being racist. There's something behind the scenes pushing it that direction. Don't go pointing the blame before you figure out what all is going on behind the scenes http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif.

Maybey these are to make up with all the glitches and frame drops in AC2.
