What was the first plane that was modeled for the game. I mean the original IL2 and what was first modeled for the production game? Was it the IL2? It would make sense...

From memory the Il-2 and Mig-3 were right at the beginning. Back then the terrain looked completely different too.

The Original game was not going to even include Bf-109's.. It was going to be just an Il2 Attack Simulation... Then, thanks to some "whining", that was changed..

You all remember good whining don't you?

Yeah.. I know.. its a long ways back /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

"Individual victories in the air should be subordinate to the overall sucess of the group....The most important principle is to insure that those under you feel that their commander understands their worries; that the commander can be approached by anyone in the group; that what he demands of the group is necessary, and that you would never demand of them more that what you are willing to demand of yourself."
